A downloadable game

⚠️ Development Notes

This is a prototype created for an educational Narrative Design course.
Some visual assets (character art and backgrounds) and music are temporary placeholders found online (from Pinterest, ArtStation, Yotube, etc), used only for development and testing purposes.
I do not claim any rights over these artworks, and no visual content here is intended for commercial use in this form.

All credit goes to the original artists and I deeply regret that I was not able to trace many of them back due to sourcing limitations.
The final version of the game will feature fully original artwork and assets in collaboration with artists and creators.

In Hope for Abyss, you follow the desperate escape of Andrea Bronac, a person born from the fusion of two human fraternal twins, now trapped in the underground laboratories of the Abyss Research Center a dark and hidden facility located beneath the capital of the Ulma Confederation.

Andrea is one of only three survivors of horrific experiments, and in this prototype, you’ll experience their version of the story. You'll uncover their past, their trauma, their enhanced sensory abilities, and their spiritual connection to mysterious beings known as the Animus.

💬 A Small Beginning for a Bigger World

Hope for Abyss is just the start.
The full game, The Retsuka Chronicles, will feature five non-completely interconnected stories, each with different protagonists, settings, and branching choices all of which will influence a final, overarching narrative.

If you enjoy the concept, follow along for future updates and development!
